Water drop shots are all over dA, and it is often hard to find an original photo. Although this isn't the first I've ever seen, the colour here IS somewhat different.

An uplifting blue is the most prominent colour, and yellow red and green dots work well here.

The main drop is very well focused even in "mid-flight" and I really like the longer drop with two very small drops attached to it because you can still see the colourful paper in them. That's my favourite part of the image, even though the eye is more attracted to the main drop, perfectly centered.

As the artist said, the paper is sadly too small and the background is visible on the right. But the light is also reflected in the main drop and smaller ones, over exposing those parts of the photo. A shame, but it's always the problem with indoor macro photography. Maybe photoshop could help, but that's the artists choice.

The colour, focus and form of the drops are great in this photo. The little reflection and visible background are the only setbacks for me.

A very good photo. Well done.
