Water On Fire...

The beauty in the work comes out of the focus on the water droplets and the web and the background that is hard to undserstand it matter as to what it is.

The background reflects light and different shades but one cannot be sure and that leaves much to the imagination to think and a person is not forced to think while being restricted. This mentally relaxes the mind and makes the contrast look more natural.

Then the water droplets and the web. The wonderful thing about it firstly is the orientation of the web and how the thread is connected in the small matrix shown in the pic. The water droplets manage to cling at the smaller tilted threads while the larger ones still remain untouched. This and the reflection within the droplets gives the work a very brilliant touch.

Finally, the darker portions in the background definately play their part in the work.
