i love it the way u made the foe seed pod pop by adding a larg blurry yin yang sigh in the back ground was amazing the image is clear and looks effortles and well thought out at the same time i lvoe how the back and white contrast each other and how the fethery parts of the pod make it look light and as if its floteing despite the fact that the image is still i also like how the stem is grey and stand out drawing the eye up and the glare off the yin yang sigh in the middle adds depth and realism
This is an absolutely gorgeous and strong image that I think you pulled off really well. It's simple, effective and is very pleasing to the eye. The black and white is just so striking, and the small water droplet is very eye-catching as well. The depth of field also contributes to this beautifully.
My only nit pick would really be the alignment of the subject. Considering yin and yang is about balance, perhaps it would've been more adequate to place the droplet more central to the image. I just find the off-centered subject to be a little contradicting to the overall idea of the image.
Overall though, a well-executed idea, and definitely inspiring!
I enjoy symbols and the water symbolizes the reflection of an opposite color theory. On the back ground is a black dot in the lower left hand corner separated by a white background then there is a curved line that separates it from the black background and the white spot. Yet, the water droplet reflects the opposition of this. It not only represents the playful trick of mirrors but captures the theory of opposites that often make complimentary pairs in nature and in color. This picture captured the seductiveness tempting all of us of how we are all attracted to the beauty of your work. Well done.
