This article has been written for #projecteducate by `miontre.
Featuring other artists in your Journal is a great thing to do, because everyone wins! Not only are you supporting other artists by giving them some extra exposure, but you can also earn some exposure for yourself and make new friends too. Additionally, those who view your feature have the opportunity to find some new art and artists. 
Therefore, it pays to make your Journal features the best they can be. Making a really good Journal feature can involve a lot of time and work - planning, collecting artwork, arranging the artwork in a Journal, publication, and promotion. Taking these steps instead of merely dragging in thumbs from your Favourites will result in an appealing and rewarding Journal feature. In this tutorial, we're going to produce a feature with images arranged like this:

My Feature is inspired by games like Fade http://www.kongregate.com/games/frozencoin/fade?acomplete=fade , Closure http://www.kongregate.com/games/GlaielGamer/closure?acomplete=closu and Take a Walk http://www.kongregate.com/games/logosogol/take-a-walk?acomplete=let%27s+take+a+walk
But there was also music that inpired me like "Feuerkind", "Abendland", "Abendlied", "Bis in alle Ewigkeit", "Mir allein", "Kaltes Herz", and "Finster, Finster" by Subway to Sally http://subwaytosally.com/ as well as the song "Losing your Season" by Pizuya's Cell http://www.pizuya.com/ and "Yes, it's Genozide" by Serj Tankian. Even if I don't understand the text of the last two, it's their feeling and emotion that they emit, that is so inspiring for me.

Pastel Coloured Plant Squares FeatureHurray! I'm doing a feature at least, =Kara-a motivated me with her little contest c: so, my dear watchers and visitors, for all of you, I collected a bunch of pastel coloured plants in square format. A really long theme, but there are so many great works out there so I had to specify it. Hopefully you'll get it as "colour themed" feature, =Kara-a! (:

Sonic Fanart Feature: Green Through the YearsNot every great Sonic artist is popular. I may not envy some of their watcher counts, but I am green with envy for these artists' talent!
~Anubins and ~MisterMacanulty provide some of the more unique Sonic fanart I've seen by way of style variance. I never envisioned these particular approaches to Green Hill working, yet they do. I love the color on Anubin's piece, and the detail on Macanulty's Eggman is just superb.
Two slightly different classic Sonic's here from ~TheJege12 and ~SilentRain12. I like Jege's use of a warped, twisted perspective to convey the speed of the series, and SilentRain's use of the wind in Sonic's spikes to add movement to a moment of stillness and serenity.

Beauty is all around us. The color orange makes me think of: passionate, tropical, warm, citrus, otherworldly.
