How to take macro photos without a macro lens

Description

Since the majority of you wanted to know how i create my macro photos without a macro lens i wrote a small information :happybounce: I personally love these filters and took all my macro photos with them.
With this "tutorial" i mainly want to make those filters more know since apparently almost nobody knows them.

I noticed the aperature in this text and here is one example :
I had to use a F-stop of 9 which is a really small aperature but it was necessary to get the whole drop n focus :aww: Just so you can see what i meant.

Here are some more information about closeup filter by *Ratabago :
Shallow depth of field is one of the big problems with any form of macro photography. And the closer you get to the subject the narrower the field of acceptably sharp focus becomes. At 50% magnification I'm often shooting at F/8.0 to F/11.0. At 100%, where the front of my lens is only 14cm from my subject, I'm often shooting at F/13.0 to F/16.0. At these apertures available light starts to be a problem, and an off camera flash or a reflector of some sort can be very useful.

There are a few problems to watch for with macro filters. They tend to soften the image towards the corners, and also often vignette. That square cropping you do helps a lot with these two problems. Macro filters also increase chromatic aberration (which tends to make the image less sharp), particularly if there is a strong light source. Stacking cheap filters makes all these problems much worse, especially chromatic aberration.

And here are some other photos i took with those closeup lenses/ filter :

If you have any other questions don't hestiate to ask :happybounce:
